Price Pfister makes 2 lines of faucets, one is their retail line that is available in home centers and hardware stores. The Price Pfister Professional Grade Line is sold to architects, engineers, builders, designers, wholesalers, and plumbers.
These professional grade products are not available at home centers or hardware stores. So before you thing you “got a deal” at the home center, realize that they sell a less expensive version that has many plastic parts and connections and may be made in a foreign country like China.

So please, take this plumber’s advice and make sure you buy professional grade products and not the R version or retail version sold at home centers.
